Nothing is accepted until you choose. At acceptance you can turn on or off showing your realtor’s name, realtor updates, and the realtor’s name on Edmund emails. Those choices are on by default and you can change each later in Settings. Acceptance does not let the realtor open your household book. Your agent can see limited relationship information such as your name, whether you’ve opened the book, and recent use — not photos, videos, serial numbers, documents, contacts, stored codes, or other private home records.
Steps
- Sign in with the invited mobile number and review the gift and the three relationship controls before you accept.
- Change Show my agent’s name, Updates from my agent, or Agent name on Edmund emails later in Settings.
Does not
- Give the realtor the household book, or lock the relationship controls forever.
- Send realtor updates if you turn them off, including from an email unsubscribe link.
Escalate when
- The gift cannot be accepted, a control will not save, or realtor updates continue after they were turned off.
